About

I am an academic leader, researcher, and systems developer working at the intersection of computer graphics, GPU programming, and high-performance computing. My work is driven by a strong belief that impactful research must be grounded in rigorous implementation, efficient systems design, and real-world applicability.

I currently serve as an Assistant Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science at Salim Habib University, where I lead academic programs, research initiatives, and industry–academia collaboration. My responsibilities span academic leadership, curriculum design, faculty development, and research strategy, with a continued emphasis on maintaining high technical and academic standards.

Prior to my current role, I held academic and research leadership positions at DHA Suffa University, where I was actively involved in teaching, research supervision, and program development. I was also director of the CUDA Research Lab, focusing on GPU-accelerated computing, performance optimization, and applied research using C++ and CUDA.

My research interests include computer graphics and visualization, GPU-accelerated and high-performance computing, and remote sensing. I am particularly interested in physically based rendering, parallel algorithms, memory-efficient GPU architectures, and the application of high-performance techniques to scientific computing, satellite imagery, and AI-driven workflows.

In addition to research and development, I am deeply committed to teaching, mentorship, and academic service. I actively supervise undergraduate and graduate research and mentor students in both theoretical foundations and practical systems skills.
